Dumpster Rental Pricing Grand Rapids MI
All Rental Rates at a Glance
One simple price list for every job — household cleanouts, junk removal, roofing tear-offs, mixed debris, and construction or remodel work all rent the same sizes at the same rates. All prices include delivery, pickup, and driveway protection. Every bin has square walls all the way up, so each one holds more than its name suggests.

The 10 and 15 Yard are available for 3 or 7 days. The 20 and 25 Yard add 14, 21, and 28 day terms. The 15, 20, and 25 Yard share the same floor footprint — only height differs. Running a construction or remodel job? Same sizes, same prices — heavy debris like drywall and tile just uses up your included tonnage faster. Concrete goes only as its own load in a 10 Yard.
Transparent Pricing. No games.

Drywall, lumber, tile, and fixtures add weight fast — but construction and remodel jobs rent the same four sizes at the same transparent prices as any other rental. No separate tier, no surprises. Just pick a size with enough included tonnage for heavy material, and any overage is billed at $70 / Ton, pro-rated to the nearest pound.

Fees & Extra Charges
We keep it simple. The only common extras are weight overage and extra days — both billed transparently with no hidden markups.
Billed pro-rated to the nearest pound — you only pay for what you actually go over. The included tonnage is part of your base price, not a hard cap.
Need more time? Text us before your rental ends and we'll extend it. Extra days are added to your bill at pickup — no upfront payment needed.

Weight & Overage — How It Works
Your rental price includes a set tonnage allowance. If your load goes over, the difference is billed at $70 / Ton, pro-rated to the nearest pound — no rounding up to full tons. That's true for every job, whether it's a household cleanout, a roofing tear-off, or a construction or remodel project.
Included tonnage is the amount covered by your base price — you can go over, it just adds to your bill at $70 / Ton. Max load is different: it's the most the truck can lift. The 10 and 15 Yard carry 15,000 lbs, the 20 Yard 14,000 lbs, and the 25 Yard 13,000 lbs. Going over max load adds a $100 overweight fee.
Brick, plaster, drywall, tile, and shingles add weight fast — they'll reach a weight limit long before the bin looks full. Counterintuitively, that often makes the smaller sizes the right call for heavy loads, since the 10 and 15 Yard carry the highest ceiling we run. See all rates →

Every Rental Includes Driveway Protection
We place HDPE driveway protection boards (Rolliskate™) under every dumpster we deliver — not wood blocks, not bare steel on your driveway. No request needed. No extra charge.
High-density polyethylene is softer than asphalt and concrete, so it absorbs contact forces instead of grinding into your surface. Wood splinters, traps grit, and can gouge. HDPE boards don't.
Asphalt softens in summer heat. A dumpster sitting on bare asphalt on a 90° day can leave permanent indentations. HDPE boards distribute the load — especially important for construction and remodel dumpsters loaded with dense debris.
Delivery & Placement Tips
A few quick things that help your delivery go smoothly and keep you on the right side of local rules.
The truck needs roughly 50 feet of clear approach to set a bin down squarely, plus clearance overhead for wires, branches, and low overhangs. Our driver will confirm on arrival.
The 10 Yard is 93″ by 154″ — about 8 by 13 feet — and fits a single-car driveway. The 15, 20, and 25 Yard share a longer 93″ by 204″ footprint. HDPE protection boards are included on any surface.
Placing in the street? Your city may require a permit. Grand Rapids and some suburbs have specific rules — check with your municipality before booking. Driveway placement never needs one.
Keep everything at or below the top of the bin — nothing sticking up above it. Anything over the top is a $100 overfill fee. Throwing or sliding items over the top rail is fine, and every bin has a rear door.
Pricing FAQ
Everything you need to know before you book.
Yes — every rental includes delivery, pickup, and HDPE driveway protection boards (Rolliskate™). No fuel surcharges, no environmental fees, no hidden add-ons. We deliver Monday through Saturday at no extra charge.
Each size includes a set weight allowance in the base price: 1.5 Tons on the 10 Yard, 2 Tons on the 15 Yard, 2.5 Tons on the 20 Yard, and 3 Tons on the 25 Yard. If you go over, overage is billed at $70 / Ton, pro-rated to the nearest pound. That’s the same for every job — household cleanouts, roofing tear-offs, and construction or remodel work all rent the same sizes at the same rates.
Text us before your rental ends and we’ll extend it. Extra days are $10 / Day, added to your bill at pickup. No paperwork, no upfront payment needed. The 10 and 15 Yard cap at 7 days total; the 20 and 25 Yard run up to 28.
Most residential cleanouts and single-room remodels fit a 15 Yard. Larger remodels and renovation projects typically need a 20 or 25 Yard — those two share the same driveway footprint and differ in height and included tonnage. For dense material like roofing shingles, tile, or a concrete-only load, the 10 Yard is often the better call despite being the smallest — it carries 15,000 lbs, the highest ceiling we run. Not sure? Text us your project and we’ll tell you exactly what to book.
They’re named the same, but they hold more. Our bins are built square from top to bottom instead of tapered, so none of the space near the top is wasted. The 10 Yard measures a true 12.45 cu yd, the 15 Yard 16.76 cu yd, the 20 Yard 21.30 cu yd, and the 25 Yard 25.14 cu yd. Weight works the opposite way — the 10 and 15 Yard carry the most at 15,000 lbs each, so dense loads usually belong in a smaller bin. See all rates →
Yes — construction and remodel dumpsters are available in all four sizes, and they rent at the same transparent prices as any other job. Construction and demolition debris — drywall, lumber, flooring, tile, fixtures — is heavier than household junk, so the main thing is choosing a size with enough included tonnage. Any overage is billed at $70 / Ton, pro-rated to the nearest pound. See all rates →
Concrete, yes — but only as its own load in a 10 Yard, so call or text before you book. Dirt that comes along with plants and yard cleanup is fine, but we can’t take loads of dug-out dirt or soil. Brick is accepted in any size, but it’s dense and uses up included tonnage fast, so the 10 or 15 Yard is usually the right call — they carry the highest max load. Any overage is billed at $70 / Ton, pro-rated. Check Is That Allowed? for anything else.
Paint, chemicals, liquids, batteries, fuel cans, hazardous waste, asbestos, and medical waste are prohibited, along with logs, stumps, and loads of dug-out dirt. Empty metal tanks like propane, air, and helium are fine. Most household, roofing, and construction debris is fine too — including electronics, e-waste, and scrap metal at no extra charge. A few accepted items carry a fee: mattresses at $20 each, appliances with Freon at $20, tube (CRT) TVs and monitors at $20, and tires at $4 each under 42″ or $6 each 42″ and over. Box springs are free, and appliances without Freon are free. Nothing needs to be declared before delivery. See every item and fee on Is That Allowed?, or text us a photo if you’re unsure.
Yes. HDPE driveway protection boards (Rolliskate™) are placed under every dumpster we deliver — included at no extra charge. They protect concrete and asphalt from scratches, gouging, and weight damage, especially important on hot summer days when asphalt softens.
