What Size Dumpster Do I Need?
Four sizes, one simple price for every job. The short version: pick by volume if your debris is bulky, and by weight if it's dense. Those point in opposite directions more often than people expect — our two smallest bins carry the most weight. Every bin is built with square walls top to bottom, so each one holds more than its name suggests, and every rental includes HDPE driveway protection at no extra charge.

The most room we offer, on the same driveway footprint as the 20 Yard. A swing-open rear door lets you roll or slide heavy items in at ground level instead of lifting them over the wall. Best for bulky debris rather than dense — its weight ceiling is the lowest of the four.

The Part Most People Get Backwards
Bigger bin, more weight — that's the natural assumption, and it's wrong. Our 10 and 15 Yard carry 15,000 lbs, the highest ceiling we run. The 20 Yard carries 14,000 lbs, and the 25 Yard carries 13,000 lbs.
That means a roof tear-off, a concrete patio, or a tile demo belongs in a smaller bin, not a larger one. Load shingles into a 25 Yard and you'll hit the legal hauling limit with the bin barely half full — you've paid for room you can't use.
The rule of thumb: bulky and light goes up in size. Dense and heavy goes down.
Included tonnage isn't a cap. It's what your base price covers. Going over just adds $70 / Ton pro-rated to the nearest pound. The max load is different — that's the legal hauling limit, and material has to come out if you exceed it.
Will It Fit My Driveway?
There are only two footprints across all four sizes. If one fits, so does everything that shares it.
10 Yard
93″ × 154″ — about 8 by 13 feet
Shorter than a midsize car. The pick for tight city lots, steep grades, and limited turnarounds.
15, 20 & 25 Yard
93″ × 204″ — about 8 by 17 feet
All three take identical ground space. Moving up in size adds height, not length — so stepping from a 15 to a 25 costs you nothing in driveway.
The truck needs about 50 feet of clear approach to set a bin down squarely, plus overhead clearance for wires, branches, and low overhangs. If your driveway is short, steeply sloped, or has a tight turn at the top, text a photo to 616-350-0514 before booking and we'll tell you straight.
Size Questions
Most roll-offs have tapered walls that narrow toward the bottom, wasting the space near the top. Ours are built square from top to bottom. We name them to the industry standard so you can compare quotes fairly, but the 10 Yard measures a true 12.34 cu yd, the 15 Yard 16.98 cu yd, the 20 Yard 21.11 cu yd, and the 25 Yard 25.01 cu yd.
No. One simple price covers every job — household junk, roofing, drywall, lumber, tile, and demolition debris all rent the same bin at the same rate. There's no separate tier to decode and no debris-type restrictions to work around. The only thing that changes with heavier material is how fast you use up your included tonnage.
Not on every size. The 10 and 15 Yard are available for 3 or 7 days. The 20 and 25 Yard offer 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 day terms. If your project will run long, that's a reason to choose a 20 or 25 even when a smaller bin would hold the debris. Extensions are $10 / Day — text before your scheduled pickup.
If we bring the wrong size, the swap is on us. If you underestimated the job, text us and we'll work it out — usually a swap or a second haul. Better still, text a photo before you book and we'll size it for you. That conversation costs nothing and saves everyone the trouble.
No — the 25 Yard is our largest, at a true 25.01 cu yd. A 30 yard container is longer and needs more room to set down and more truck clearance than most residential driveways allow, which is why we run the 25 instead. If the 25 isn't enough room, a second haul is usually cheaper and easier than finding a driveway a 30 will fit.
