Doing demo, renovation, or contractor work?

Drywall, lumber, tile, flooring, and fixtures are heavier than household junk. The 20 yard's included tonnage handles it well — ideal for multi-room gut-outs, large renovation projects, and commercial contractor debris, all at the same simple price.

From $350 / 3 days 2.5 Tons included $70 / Ton overage

Why the 20 Yard

More volume. Same driveway.

The 20 yard shares the exact same length and width as our 15 — it's just taller. That extra height adds roughly 4.1 cubic yards of volume without requiring any more driveway space. And like every bin we run, it's square from top to bottom, so a standard 20 yard from us holds 21.11 cubic yards instead of 20.

This bin is the right call when you need…

More capacity without a longer bin — same 93″ × 204″ footprint as the 15, just taller
More included tonnage — 2.5 tons with the 20 vs 2 tons with the 15, more buffer on heavy jobs
More than the standard size — a true 21.11 cu yd where the industry 20 yard gives you 20, at the same footprint
Room for a big project in one haul — 13+ pickup truck loads handles most multi-room remodels without a swap
One simple price — handles household junk and demolition debris alike, without switching pricing tiers
Driveway-safe placement — every rental includes HDPE driveway protection boards (Rolliskate™) at no extra charge

Best for these projects

Multi-room gut-outs & major renovations
Kitchen & bathroom remodels with high debris volume
Contractor job sites with mixed debris
Whole-house cleanouts & estate clear-outs
Siding, framing, & commercial debris
20 vs 25 yard — same footprint, different height and price: The 25 is about 11 inches taller and holds about 3.9 more cubic yards, for $400 compared to $350 for the 20. If you're on the fence, the extra room and tonnage are often worth the difference. See the full 20 vs 25 comparison →

Questions

20 Yard Dumpster FAQs

It's the same size class, but it holds more. A standard 20 yard roll-off is exactly 20 cubic yards, and most have tapered walls that waste space near the top. Ours is built square from top to bottom and measures a true 21.11 cubic yards — more room in the same driveway footprint, with 2.5 tons included, at one simple price.
Yes — the 20 yard handles construction and demolition debris (drywall, lumber, tile, flooring, fixtures) just as well as household junk, at the same simple price. It includes 2.5 Tons and bills overage at $70 / Ton. It's a strong call for multi-room gut-outs and large renovation projects. Starts at $350 for 3 days. See full sizing & pricing →
The 20 and 15 yard share the exact same length and width footprint — 93″ wide by 204″ long. The 20 is about 12 inches taller (61″ vs 49″), which adds about 4.1 cubic yards — roughly 2.5 extra pickup truck loads. The 20 also includes 2.5 Tons vs 2 Tons for the 15, giving more buffer on heavier jobs. The 20 costs $350 vs $300 for the 15.
Both share the same footprint. The 25 is about 11 inches taller and holds about 3.9 more cubic yards, for $400 compared to $350 for the 20 — roughly 14% more for meaningfully more room and tonnage. If you're unsure and the budget allows, the 25 is often the better value. The main reason to choose the 20 is if overhead clearance or loading height is a concern. See the full 20 vs 25 side-by-side comparison →
In most cases, yes. At 93″ wide by 204″ long, the 20 yard has the same footprint as our 15 yard — if the 15 fits, the 20 fits. We include HDPE driveway protection boards (Rolliskate™) under every bin to protect your surface. Have a tight or curved driveway? Text us a photo at (616) 350-0514 and we'll confirm.
It works for larger residential roofs, and the 2.5 tons included gives more upfront headroom than the smaller bins. But roofing debris is dense, and this is the one place where bigger isn't better: the 20 yard's max load is 14,000 lbs, which is actually lower than the 15,000 lbs ceiling on both our 10 and 15 yard. On a heavy tear-off you'll hit that weight limit long before you fill the bin. For most roofing work the 10 or 15 yard is the better call, at a lower price. Text (616) 350-0514 with the square footage and we'll size it for you.
Your rental includes 3 days, with 7, 14, 21, and 28-day terms available. Extra days are $10 / Day — let us know before your scheduled pickup and we'll push the timeline out. Most contractor and remodel projects wrap within 3 days, but we're flexible.
Your base rental price covers up to 2.5 tons (5,000 lbs) of material. Beyond that, overages are billed at $70 / Ton, pro-rated — so if you're 500 lbs over, that's the proportional fraction, not a full ton charge. The 20 yard's 2.5 ton included allowance is more than the 10 and 15 yard include, making it a better fit for projects with heavier mixed debris — regardless of whether that debris is household junk or construction material.
